PP Lifting Straps and Strap Tape
The lifting loop is the most heavily loaded part of a big bag. It carries the cargo weight during lifting, and its strength determines the safety factor of the whole container. We produce polypropylene strap tape for our own products and supply it wholesale to other packaging manufacturers.
The tape is produced in widths from 30 to 70 mm with a working load up to 2000 kg. Width and weave density are matched to the design cargo mass and the required strength reserve: the higher the safety factor, the larger the strap cross-section needed at the same load.
Beyond big bag production, strap tape is used for lashing and securing cargo in transit, for rigging products and technical goods. Shipped in coils; volumes are agreed at order stage.

FAQ
Which strap width should I choose?
Width is selected from the design cargo mass and the required safety factor. Bags for 500–1000 kg usually need narrower tape; cargo up to 2000 kg calls for wider and denser tape. We will calculate it for your product.
Do you sell tape separately from big bags?
Yes, we ship strap tape in coils on a wholesale basis — both to packaging manufacturers and for technical applications.
What is the difference between working and breaking load?
Working load is the mass the strap carries in normal service. Breaking load is several times higher, and the ratio between them is the safety factor. For big bags it is usually 5:1 or 6:1.
